MANGARIS™ is the trademark of the top quality premium hardwood decking line, which is manufactured from all clear heart premium grade selection of Red Balau, Yellow Balau and other species.
MANGARIS™ RED, commonly called Red Mangaris, is produced from a genuine Red Balau specie. It is an extremely hard, clear grade, tight and interlocked grain wood with an extremely consistent color. It is a deep red with a minor amount of fine brown ribbon stripes. It has the richness of Mahogany.
MANGARIS™ DIAMOND is our new decking line; produced from a genuine hardwood that is an extremely hard, clear grade, tight grained wood with much less color variation than other hardwoods. It is a yellowish brown with beautiful grain resembling Brazilian IPE; has a classified A Fire Rating.
Ipe Tropical Hardwood Decking
Our Ipe Decking providers pay strict attention to environmental standards mandated by local organizations in Central and South America and harvest their hardwoods from managed forests using sustainable methods.
Brazilian Walnut (Ipe)
Brazilian Walnut is a beautiful dark brownish olive to dark olive and is generally one of the more uniform in color woods.
Cedar Decking
BlueLinx receives their cedar decking from companies that use managed forests that provide a consistent supply of fine grain second growth and fine grain mature growth Western Red Cedar.
Western Red Cedar is the most decay- and insect-resistant of all the softwood species and is renowned for its naturally occurring resistance to moisture.
Western Red Cedar is light in weight, uniformly textured, straight grained and contains no resin. The beauty and excellent properties of Western Red Cedar has been acknowledged for centuries. The rich warmth of cedar creates a welcoming atmosphere in an exterior setting and is excellent for siding, fencing, paneling, roofing, soffits, sashes, door frames and decking.
